AEC is constantly on the lookout for donors to give blood to dogs and cats in need. Lulu here is the latest recipient of a life-saving blood donation by one of our regular donors. After losing significant blood volume through her gastrointestinal tract, Lulu’s red blood cell count was critically low. After a blood transfusion and supportive care, Lulu is making steps towards a good recovery. Her beautiful nature and fighting spirit make her our Pet of the Week.
